* Full-time, Temporary Positions (indefinite).
* SCHEDULE: Days only (approximately 8:30 or 9:00 am to 4:30 or 5:00 pm daily) Monday through Friday, No weekends, No nights. Flexible hours available in some settings.

* LOCATION: All positions are in Onondaga County, Syracuse, NY
* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain patient files and retrieve files for scheduled appointments; file study patient charts; file all patient data upon receipt of information; initiate records for new patients and create computer index; prepare file labels; maintain filing statistics; audit filing sequence.
Respond to requests for medical records; processes letters and reports; answer and direct telephone calls.
Retrieve patient schedules from computer system; distribute lab reports to physicians, and materials to other departments; request information from various departments; respond to correspondence requests.
Photocopy records and documents for billing and/or legal services; send and receive information via facsimile machine.
Keep supervisor informed of problems or issues; monitor supplies needed; performs other duties as assigned.
