POSITION INFORMATION: Health Information Technician (Private Practice).
SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday (approximately) 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree preferred but Associates Degree will be considered based on work experience. Being a Registered HIT is a plus. No prior managerial experience is required but is preferred.
POSITION SUMMARY: Compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards.
